These terms of use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Bestday, Inc. (“Bestday,” “we,” “us”). They apply to the Bestday website, mobile app and shelter portal (together, the “Bestday Services”).
By creating an account or using the Bestday Services, you agree to these Terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Bestday Services.
Bestday connects caretakers with shelter and rescue dogs for day outings. Shelters list dogs and set outing windows, caretakers book and take dogs out, and both share notes and photos that help dogs get adopted.
Bestday is a platform. We do not own, house or care for any dog, and we do not employ caretakers. Each shelter decides which dogs are available, who can take them out and the rules for each outing.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. Shelters may ask caretakers to verify their identity, complete an orientation or meet other requirements before their first outing.
You agree to give accurate information when you sign up and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
When you book an outing, you agree to:
Shelters may cancel or change an outing at any time, including for the dog’s health or safety. Please cancel in the app as early as you can if your plans change.
Shelters that use the portal agree to keep dog profiles accurate, share relevant behavior and health information with caretakers, and review caretakers before approving outings. Shelters remain responsible for their animals and for their own adoption decisions.
You keep ownership of the notes, ratings and photos you share through Bestday (“Your Content”). By sharing it, you give Bestday and the dog’s shelter permission to use, display and share Your Content to run the Bestday Services and to help the dog find a home, including on the dog’s profile and in adoption listings.
Only share content you have the right to share, and do not post anything that is false, harmful or that shows another person without their permission.
Donations made through Bestday go to the shelter you choose, minus any payment processing fees shown at checkout. Donations are processed by a third-party payment provider and are generally non-refundable. The shelter is responsible for providing any tax receipts.

You can stop using Bestday and delete your account at any time. We or a shelter may suspend or remove your access if you break these Terms, put an animal or person at risk, or if we are required to by law.
Dogs are animals and can behave unpredictably. Shelters share what they know, but neither Bestday nor shelters can guarantee how any dog will behave. You take part in outings at your own risk.
The Bestday Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bestday is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss or damage arising from an outing or from your interactions with a dog, shelter or other user. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Bestday Services is limited to $100.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and let you know in the app or by email if the changes are significant. If you keep using Bestday after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
